Description
Ornate small Perfume Bottle. These were popular for ladies to carry in purse in early 1900’s. They used larger ones for dressing table. Unfortunately the Chinese are now flooding the market with copies. It is easy to tell the difference if you know what you are looking for. The originals have Czechoslovakia in very small letters along the side of bottle screw-on top. They also have MUCH finer metal filigree work. The repo’s wholesale for around $25 and I have seen them at antique shows priced from $45 to $75 and more. Pay careful attention.
Do not confuse them with the Victorian Chatelaine perfume bottles. These sell much higher and are usually made of hand painted porcelains, enamels or precious metals.
