Gorgeous Natural Garnet Cabochan piece. Handset in Vermail. Gold over Sterling as opposed to other common metals. Has a heavier gold content and therefore wears much longer. Vintage era. I have adopted Indian family and travel to India often to see extended family. Jaipur has undoubtedly some of the world’s finest jewelry craftsmen. Includes matching earrings in set. The silk adjustable cord is typical Indian style, not used generally in exports. I buy in India, not from wholesale export outlets. Cord could be replaced with chain if preferred although I personally like the authentic, practical cord.
